@mina It's not a scripting language but a markup language (think HTML vs JavaScript), the good news is there's a lot of markdown to HTML converters out there so if a CMS doesn't support markdown you could convert it. And it a CMS doesn't support HTML then run quickly ;)

@webb When it's clear it's a bot I have no issue whatsoever. Many companies use chat bots as first line support and you talk to "Rita-Bot" for example. Assuming they tell you a command to shortcut you to a human if their bot can't complete your request it's no problem. I hate it when I end up with a bot masquerading as a human though - they are usually the ones that aren't programmed as well too.
@derekpeden I'd be fine with my virtual assistant communicating with an API made for this purpose, but something about the human involvement without their knowledge feels icky.
@andrewford I know the guys in charge of our photocopiers at work know it - because they told me about it when we were discussing how to implement a printing system for all printers. I would hope that all people in charge of printers and copiers know that.
@philbowell I think the thing with using any sort of digital assistant to make a reservation or retrieve information via phone call is answering the wrong question. The solution is realistically "how can we help these businesses put this online so people don't need to phone us?"
@andrewford I just checked, I know they do - and have for quite a few years. But my boyfriend who is a programmer too didn't know (granted, it's also not part of his job to know).

@collin Shame! I'm only staying until Wednesday myself - next year I'll do the whole week, but I'll also book a (cancellable) hotel as soon as there are solid date rumours and flights as soon as it's announced which should cut the costs somewhat.
@mina I'm a big fan of the JetBrains products. They always use the same keyboard shortcuts too so I can switch without thinking about which IDE I'm using easily.
@wilsongis Launch Center Pro is great! Add some time or geo based "open this app" actions to get started - e.g. when I get to work I am reminded to clock in and open my OF :)
@vishae I think we have it in the MacBook and the MacBook Pro Escape.
